Your Privacy
We maintain a very strong commitment to your privacy. When we ask for your personal and/or company information, we do so in order to communicate with you regarding product inquiries, orders and/or shipping data. Your name and personal information will never be shared with any outside parties at any time.
Order Acceptance Policy
The receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. QualityLamps reserves the right, at any time after receipt of the order and without prior notice, to supply less than the quantity ordered of any item. In order to protect our interests, all orders over EUR € 500,- must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our Credit & Fraud Department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
Backorders
Due to the popularity of some products, we may not always have all items on stock. If your ordered item is not on stock it will be placed in backorder and shipped when the item is available. In this case we will always notice you of the backorder. You may cancel a backorder at any time prior to shipping by contacting us.
Payment Options
QualityLamps adheres to advanced payment options like e.g. Credit Card, upfront Bank Transfer or Cash on Delivery. Scared for fraud by us? Nonsense! We have too much to loose. We depend on a good reputation, with good services.
VAT (sales taxation)
QualityLamps, established in The Netherlands, is by law obligated to withhold 19% sales tax (VAT) for each invoiced order to every private person living in an EU country and to each company established within the EU. Companies within the EU with a correct VAT-number, will be exempted from this 19% sales tax (VAT). Companies outside the EU, will be automatically exempted from this 19% sales tax (VAT). Please fill out your VAT-number (if applicable) when registering. We will then verify your VAT-number and disable the VAT for your account within 1 working day. Private persons outside the EU will also be invoiced with 19% sales tax (VAT).
Accepted Credit Cards
You can pay with Visa or Master Card. Your online payments will be processed by a professional specialized third party. Online payments will be processed by Ogone (www.ogone.com), a verified leading third party and one of the European leaders in payment services. Information is exchanged according to the HTML, XML and SSL market standards. QualityLamps does not manage transaction security nor store sensitive information on their site, as it is exchanged directly between the customer and Ogone.
The three-tier structure of the mechanism guarantees the confidentiality of the payment data. This means that at no time do we or the applications on our website have any knowledge of the buyer's credit card number. All communications between the client browser and Ogone e-Commerce uses SSL 128 bits encrypting methods. It is not possible for the client to use a browser that does not support this type of encrypting. The website of Ogone is protected by various firewall systems and protocol conversions to prohibit access to the payment data or processing systems.
Shipping Policy
We have a strong commitment to the Incoterms 2000. These are made up by the International Chamber of Commerce (www.iccwbo.org) which is the world business organization. Incoterms make international trade easier and help traders in different countries to understand one another. These standard trade definitions that are most commonly used in international contracts are protected by ICC copyright.
All our shipments will be shipped based on the Incoterms 2000: CPT (Carriage Paid To). "Carriage paid to..." means that the seller delivers the goods to the carrier nominate by him but the seller must in addition pay the cost of carriage necessary to bring the goods to the named destination. This means that the buyer bears all risk and other costs occurring after the goods have been so delivered.
Same Day Shipping is available on orders placed before 12:00pm GMT, Monday - Friday, if the product is on stock at the time the order is received at the warehouse. QualityLamps does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays. NOTE: Due to restrictions we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. All shipments are subject to stock availability.
